Biofuels industry uses a much of US corn stockpile. the US Department of Agriculture(USDA) said national corn stockpiles will run low going into the next crop year, when voracious ethanol demand will rise again. In fact, about 20% of the 2006 US corn crop already was used to make ethanol and the US government said its rate of this year will rise to 27%. It is anticipated for US ehanol output to be going to rise in the future so President George W. Bush announced in his State of the Union address that the US would cut US gasoline use by 20% over the coming decade on 24 January 2007. However, this article also said there is criticizing that using bioethanol is suspicious to reduce overall greenhouse gas emissions by analyst.
