In 2006 business year which ended in March, Japanese automaker, Toyota achieved the operating profits 2.24 trillion yen by jumping 19.2 percent from the previous year. This is the first time that Japanese firm top the 2 trillion yen. On news conference in Tokyo, Toyota President Katsuaki Watanabe said "Our continuous efforts for growth in the global market are paying off," . This article analyzed rising sales on North America and Euro and achivement of increasing sales by Toyota's subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor Co. and Hino Motor Ltd are the factors of this great profits. However, Toyota decrease the sales in Japan and other Asian market and Katsuaki Watanabe also has a a conservative forecast to North America sales. He said "I think the American market will remain flat this year, but we are taking a conservative approach," .
